Sound System Culture

Rewinding time to the 1970's, the collection explores Reggae Sound System culture and it's roots in clubs and carnivals. Looking at the photographs that were captured during this era, the collection nods to music, fashion and styling references that have been re-developed for the modern PS Paul Smith customer. The use of large revere collars, v neck knits and bold colour blocking have been enforced, whilst maintaining a focus on the details in order to stay true to the playful Paul Smith design aesthetic.
